In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is my father playing Brazilian popular music on the guitar at dusk, in the backyard of our house in Ruy Barbosa, Bahia. That's where music first came into my life. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? João Gilberto, Amoroso Keane, Hopes and Fears Legião Urbana, As Quatro Estações I chose one album from each phase of my life: As Quatro Estações marked my adolescence, Hopes and Fears my youth, and Amoroso arrived in adulthood. Tell us why you chose this song. “Porão” I chose Porão because it captures so much of what I do: it speaks of desire, of longing, and of the impossibility of writing a song that can hold everything we wish for.
