Coffin Break

Coffin Break is a punk band from Seattle that formed in 1987. Though they started out concurrently with the grunge movement, Coffin Break went in a different direction than many of their peers in the Pacific Northwest did at the time, sticking to a fast and energetic hardcore approach rather than the sludgy writhing of grunge. They released multiple albums with C/Z and Epitaph before disbanding in the early '90s, but re-formed in 2007. In 2025, Coffin Break released Revival, their first album since 1992.
