Uncanny Alliance

Producer Brinsley Evans and female vocalist E.V. Mystique formed the house/funk team Uncanny Alliance in New York City in 1992. After "I Got My Education" began getting play in clubs, major labels started bidding for the duo's services. A&M finally won out, releasing The Groove Won't Bite in 1994. ~ John Bush
