In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My grandparents used to drag me to rural barn shows and dance halls to hear live honky-tonk. Hearing those classic country tunes echo through those old spaces completely captivated me and planted the seeds for my career. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Forming The Tumbleweeds in New Orleans which then became The Deslondes was life-changing. We created a unique swamp-country sound that took me from the back roads of a Missouri trash route to touring the world and sharing stages globally. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to keep digging into my pile of memories to unearth overlooked stories that deserve to be heard. My goal is to ensure every "piece of wood" sitting in my mental shop eventually finds its purpose in a song.
