In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember my mom playing the Apple Festival in NC and she asked me if I wanted to sing Rocky Top TN. I was about 8 and was so scared but knew I wanted to. The streets were packed and I loved every second of it and knew this is what I wanted to do. Tell us why you chose this song. “One Percent” I flew across the Atlantic to show my (now wife) that I was serious about us. I had a one way ticketed and just showed up on her door step. She told me to leave. And on the train back to London I wrote this song knowing that'd we'd end up together.
