Kurdo

Born on November 29, 1988, rapper Kurdo moved to Germany as a refugee from Iraq when he was just eight years old. Although he was living in Heidelberg, the MC would go on to incorporate elements of his homeland's music into his sound, which merges a confident lyrical flow with dark, downtempo beats. In 2012, Kurdo released the mixtape 11ta Stock Sound on Beefhaus before returning with a proper full-length, Slum Dog Millionaer, on Soul Food in 2014.
