Debuting in 1992 with the punishing Christ Hunt, God Dethroned have remained true to their death metal roots over the decades, issuing a sizeable collection of uncompromising sonic brutality, including the sequential World War I concept LPs Passiondale (2009), Under the Sign of the Iron Cross (2010), and World Ablaze (2017), and 2024's mythology-influenced Judas Paradox.
