Aside from being an outstanding vocalist known for her power and controlled runs, Sarah Raissuddin (born in 1984 in Ipoh) is also one gutsy artist. Having made a stunning and award-winning debut in 2002 with her eponymous album, Raissuddin competed in a number of singing competitions including 8TV’s One in a Million, where her all-out performances were roundly praised. And while her evergreen hits, such as 2002’s breakout “Kesetiaan”, remain heavily requested, Raissuddin has been bold enough to evolve—her 2020 R&B single “Manis” is proof of that.
