About Tim Arnold

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first musical memory (apart from hearing my mother Polly Perkins singing), was my older brother putting a big pair of headphones on me when I was 5. He pressed play and David Bowie's 'Life On Mars' began to play. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kate Bush, The Sensual World Michael Hedges, Aerial Boundaries Pink Floyd, The Wall These three albums have always been in my collection, on all formats since I was a child. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “What Love Would Want (Live At the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester 2018)” This live version of What Love Would Want was a one-day multimedia collaboration with the people of Manchester to celebrate love and diversity. It was accompanied by the last dance of my friend and mentor to David Bowie, Lindsay Kemp. Truly magical. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments of my career was receiving flowers from Kate Bush at the end of one of my shows. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm always waiting for that which I cannot imagine, to claim my life as a creator.
