Conducta

British DJ and producer Conducta is at the vanguard of the revival of the U.K. garage scene. Born in 1995 in Bristol, he grew up to the sounds of grime, dubstep, and of course UKG. As a teen, the first track he made for his cousins' grime crew wound up being played on BBC radio. Dropping out of university to pursue a music career, he signed in 2017 with Warner-distributed 2TE Records, on which he released several successful singles. Parting ways with the label in 2019 over creative differences, he started his own Kiwi Rekords; it issued a number of well-received mixtapes (including The Kiwi Sound), some of which earned "mix of the year" accolades in the dance press. Conducta's biggest success came when he produced AJ Tracey's 2019 monster smash hit "Ladbroke Grove." His own debut EP, In Transit, was released in 2023.
