About Gravehuffer
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I first heard Judas Priest at 6 years old in 1980. It was my dad's record of Unleashed In The East. I thought they looked cool on the front cover, so I put the record on. as soon as I heard it, it made me want to play guitar! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Deep Purple, Machine Head (Remastered) Judas Priest, Unleashed In the East (Live) Live in Japan Metallica, Master of Puppets (Remastered) My parents named me after Ritchie Blackmore from Deep Purple so that was my introduction to music that I liked. Judas Priest set me on the path to heavy metal, and Metallica changed the game. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Depart from so Much Evil” This song took us a year to make and it's my most proud achievement as a musician! I've always been a fan of longer songs and this is the ultimate song. It was so much fun to make music that told the story of Dante's Divine Comedy in all three parts! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing in front of 1500 plus people at Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest in 2023. Opening for Dark Funeral, DRI, Death Angel, Vader, Immolation, Revocation. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The bucket list is always changing, but we'd love to play overseas! I think Europe and Japan would really enjoy what we do!
