In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I sang synth pop hits in my little patterned cardigan. And most of the time, I still do. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Björk, Björk's Greatest Hits Sparks, No. 1 In Heaven The Beatles, Magical Mystery Tour The album that influenced most of my favourite bands and songwriters. The band that influenced them (and weirded me out on VHS in the film of the same name). The musician that does what she wants. Tell us why you chose this song. “Is It Too Late For Fan Clubs?” The opening lyric references the Edgar Wright documentary The Sparks Brothers, before pondering larger questions about timing and missed opportunities. The song is accompanied by a video in which I get pelted by a football and wear some hats. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My ill-fated rivalry with a puppet is a particularly notable moment in my career (in the video for Biarritz). Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to write a longform piece of music about the demise of Little Chef.
