In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to the pioneers of a kuduro as a child. The intensity and originality of this music that came from my childhood home city really made me want to become an artist. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bonga, Best of Bonga Buraka Som Sistema, Black Diamond LCD Soundsystem, LCD Soundsystem These three albums represent the pastiche of genres we love. The traditional Angolan music that eventually led to kuduro and the electronic side that we try to infuse into our current productions. Tell us why you chose this song. “Tá Queimar” Tá Queimar is a track that we really love and that we feel truly represents what we try to bring to the world. Originality, energy and intensity. We try to convey that both on record and on the stage. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moments in our career are connected with being able to share our music and our shows in many countries. Meeting different people and connecting with different cultures is definitely the biggest blessing this path has given us. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? One of the goals we have is to bring our shows to every continent of our planet. At the moment we still need to check Africa, Asia and Oceania out of this list and we're working on it. Hopefully in 2024 we'll check one of these off the list.
