In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember listening to Xanadu and Saturday Night Fever soundtracks on our 8-track player as a kid. With 8 buttons, you just pressed the button for the track you wanted to hear. ELO's music on that Xanadu tape is still influential to me today. Tell us why you chose this song. “Timbavati” "Timbavati" is derived from Shangaan language, and means "the place where something sacred came down to Earth from the heavens." I sought to explore that essence in a melodic house track. Visiting the Timbavati area was a spiritual experience for me.
