Zacarías Ferreira

Since the late 1990s, Dominican singer Zacarías Ferreira has transformed the bachata genre with his series of award-winning hits. ∙ “Dime Que Falto” marked Ferreira’s first Top 5 appearance on the Billboard Tropical Airplay singles chart, peaking at No. 3 in 2008. ∙ At the Dominican Republic’s 2012 Casandra Awards, he was nominated for four honors, including Bachata Singer of the Year and Album of the Year, for Tú y Nadie Más. ∙ His 2017 LP, El Amor, reached the Top 20 of the Billboard Tropical Albums chart, thanks to the back-to-back hits “La Asesina” and “El Intruso.” ∙ Ferreira appeared on the hit duet “Me Quedo” from fellow bachata singer Roman Santos’ five-times-Platinum, chart-topping 2019 LP, Utopía.
