Shudder to Think

Formed in Washington DC in 1986, Shudder To Think were a key band in the transition from hardcore to emo. Led by singer-songwriter Craig Wedren, Shudder To Think released four albums on the influential Dischord label, including 1991's FUNERAL AT THE MOVIES and 1992's GET YOUR GOAT, before jumping to a major label for 1994's forbiddingly intense PONY EXPRESS RECORD. Following that album, Wedren was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease; despite his successful battle with that disease, Shudder To Think split in 1998, with Wedren focusing more on his sideline career as a TV and film soundtrack composer.
