Tiwayo

An enigmatic French singer/songwriter who filters classic American roots music through a European lens, Tiwayo emerged onto the international stage in 2019 with his Blue Note debut, The Gypsy Soul of Tiwayo. With a voice seasoned beyond his years and an affinity for early blues, soul, folk, and R&B, he earned the nickname "The Young Old," and later fashioned its initials (T.Y.O.) into his stage name. Tiwayo's second album, Desert Dream (2023), was inspired by the American Southwest. He later teamed up with Black Pumas member Adrian Quesada, who produced his retro-leaning third album, Outsider, in 2026.
