In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember going to my local 'HMV' to purchase the cotton candy scented CD of Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream'. I think I was about 5 or 6, and when I got home from the store it was promptly confiscated by my parents as they didn't approve of the cover. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Caroline Polachek, Pang Ethel Cain, Preacher’s Daughter Hayley Williams, FLOWERS for VASES / descansos I think the best music always evokes a feeling you can feel with all 5 senses. Memories are tied to sound/scent/taste, and when an album can kind of... awaken those senses in me, I always basically worship the album. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “backseat baby” With 'backseat baby' I finally was able to capture a genuine feeling in a song without it sounding corny to me, and that genuinely means the world to me. I've had such an amazing time belting the song out the car window with my friends. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I think finishing my album 'Elixir' was a truly surreal moment for me. We had been working on it for about 2 years, and made over 70 songs for the project, so to finally be able to listen to the finish product was incredibly special. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I honestly can't say there is. The only thing I was to accomplish is creating more music that I personally love, and maybe finding opportunities to present it in new and creative ways to my audience.
