In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Professionally speaking, the first time I heard a friend play some Metallica & Machine Head riffs in a German guitar store, it peaked my interest and heavy music came along at the right time for me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Entombed, Left Hand Path Pantera, Far Beyond Driven Rammstein, Rammstein Entombed’s raw energy and filthy guitar tones. Pantera’s Far Beyond Driven is a dark masterpiece, Dimebag was ridiculous on this record. While I love all of Rammstein’s work, their untitled album is peak. It’s soaring and unforgettable. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Obvious Play” This song was the first proper introduction to the sound of the band I’ve always wanted to create, it’s the first time we have worked with a vocalist in all these years, I’m glad we did, it sets the tone for the new material we have cooking. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Anytime we get messages from people telling us how our music has effected them in some way. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To just continue to create a lot of music and release it to the fans, everything else just goes with the territory and is out of our hands.
