About Common Kings
In 2013, Orange County, California-based reggae band Common Kings’ first two EPs reached the Top 10 of Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart. ∙ The two official videos for their 2013 single, “No Other Love,” which featured guest spots by J-Boog and Fiji, have a combined 24 million views. ∙ The group reached a new audience when Justin Timberlake chose them to open a leg of his sold-out 2014 20/20 Experience World Tour. ∙ “Before You Go,” their 2015 single dedicated to military families saying goodbye to their loved ones, was cowritten and recorded with Meghan Trainor. ∙ Common Kings’ 2017 LP, Lost in Paradise, was nominated for the Best Reggae Album Grammy Award.
