In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest memories of music are of my Dad playing and singing around our house. The foothills of NC are full of great music, and I was lucky to have parents who helped me find it at home, in the car, at church, school, local festivals, and beyond. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alison Krauss & Union Station, Every Time You Say Goodbye Patty Griffin, 1000 Kisses Shawn Colvin, A Few Small Repairs All of these women are incredible triple threats (writers, singers, and players). These albums had a big presence in my formative years, but were made to last and continue to reveal new layers of depth and inspiration each time I return to them. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I am grateful for all of it, but landing my first publishing deal was a huge milestone. Songwriting is one of life's great gifts to me, and to get to wake up and do it every day with some of the best in the world - what more could a girl ask for? Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I've had songs I've written performed on the Grand Ole Opry, but I've never gotten to stand on that stage and sing them myself. Being a part of that incredible legacy is something I have fun dreaming about!
