In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 11 in my dad’s little Pentecostal church when I wrote my first song, “Lord Help Me Know.” I still remember that black guitar and sitting on the edge of the stage thinking, man, this is what I want to do forever. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alan Jackson, Everything I Love Brooks & Dunn, If You See Her John Michael Montgomery, Life's a Dance I picked those three albums because I just love 90s country. They take me back to riding around in my old pickup truck as a teenager, and those songs still make me want to climb up a wall every time I hear ’em. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Kentucky Friday Night” That song changed everything for us. We went from nobody knowing our name to playing clubs from Kentucky to Missouri every weekend for two years straight, all because one little party anthem from Mayfield Creek got picked up on the radio. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments was walking onstage at Bridgestone Arena with Rodney Atkins. It was one of the biggest shows we’d done at the time, and that feeling just hit different. CFSB Center with Travis Tritt would be a close second. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The next thing on my bucket list is the Grand Ole Opry. Man, just thinking about all the legends who’ve stood in that circle gives me chills. It’d be nothing short of an honor to step on that stage and be part of country music history.
