In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Back in high school I used to sit at my computer scouring though underground tracks on Soundcloud late at night trying to find hidden gems. I'd often open up my programs afterwards and try to replicate the cool stuff I'd found til I'd pass out. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Tribe Called Quest, Midnight Marauders Fat Jon, Nujabes, Samurai Champloo Music Record Departure Kings Kaleidoscope, The Beauty Between I spent a lot of my college days listening to these 3 albums (and many similar that I could go on for hours about). I loved being inspired in every facet: hip-hop pockets, jazz progressions, alternative blends, it helped me tackle music differently. Tell us why you chose this song. “GOLGOTHA (feat. aftrthght)” GOLGOTHA is a key track from SAINT JAWN that showcased everything that led to that very moment. The people God brought together, the eclectic styles of music and zeal we wanted to showcase for the Lord. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first show I ever did in Houston with aftrthght and OFC. It was this dark, sweaty, underground and nerve racking, but God pulled up in a rad way. To be able to finally perform and meet all the people who listened to us was legendary. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to lead a tour from NE America (my home) all the way to SW. Not only would it be rad to meet listeners, but I want to craft something so artistically powerful for the Lord that people could see Him in every aspect of the show.
