College Boyz

Based in Los Angeles, California, USA, this rap quartet comprised Rom, Squeak, the Q and DJ B-Selector. Their 1992 debut album for Virgin Records, an all too predictable collection of street narratives combined with funk and soul samples, made the lower reaches of the Billboard charts in that year, despite lukewarm reviews. A second album in 1994, Nuttin’ Less, featured the minor hit single ‘Rollin’’, but again failed to break them into the mainstream.
