LAO

Born Lauro Robles and active since the early 2000s, Lao is a Mexican DJ and producer of experimental electronic dance music. One of the founders of the N.A.A.F.I collective, as well as their A&R representative, Lao also created imprints such as Extasis Records and Baby Thug, the latter devoted to Mexican urban music. Known for a style that blends electronic sounds with Latin American rhythms such as reggaeton, cumbiaton, or regional Mexican music, Lao's discography includes the albums Singularity (Version 1) (2019), Los Baby La Mixtape (2020), Clásicos, Vol. 1 (2020), and Chapultepec (2024), as well as numerous EPs and singles.
