In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Both parents were into music & it often played in the house. Mom had a really good voice & sang in choirs. We sang whatever was on in the car; not formal training, but a fun way to learn to match phrasing + melodies. This query makes me miss my mom. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Depeche Mode, Black Celebration Hazel English, Wake Up! New Candys, Vyvyd Vyvyd excites me: it's psych, it's shoegaze, it's dynamic - amazing vocals & melodies. Wake Up! got me through the pandemic and everyone in the band loved it. Tell us why you chose this song. “Undone” The first tune on our 2018 LP Maps, it effectively conveys emotion lyrically about the complex feelings of unconditional love and I think that is why it seemed to catch on. It earned some of our first radio attention, including KEXP Song Of The Day.
