In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. At 5, I froze walking past the TV as The Wonder Years theme played—Joe Cocker’s “A Little Help From My Friends.” I stopped in my tracks. The power and emotion in the guitars absolutely floored me! To this day, it's still one of my favorite songs. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “¡DALE! Praise (With Jaci Velasquez)” I wrote it with no radio expectations—just what I wanted to say. Ironically, it became my first song picked up widely. I fully put myself out there, and it shows. It felt like God blessed it when I created from who I am instead of fitting boxes. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I performed three times on the K-LOVE Cruise with Jaci Velasquez. Having her re-release “¡DALE! Praise,” seeing the support, and playing to a packed, high-energy crowd was surreal—something I never planned, just a gift I got to be grateful for.
