Andrés Suárez

Spanish singer and songwriter Andrés Suárez was part of several rock bands, but by the time he reached his twenties, he had made up his mind to try and become a singer/songwriter, inspired by icons such as Joaquín Sabina and Luis Eduardo Aute, but also less obvious influences such as Robe Iniesta, Juan Luis Guerra, and Damien Rice. Following his dream, Suárez moved to Santiago de Compostela and released his debut album in 2002. Suárez kept touring and releasing well-received albums over the next two decades, including Cuando Vuelva La Marea (2011), Mi Pequeña Historia (2015), and Desde Una Ventana (2017), cultivating a devoted audience with his heartfelt voice and lyrics as well as his eclectic musical taste. Lúa, his tenth studio album, appeared in early 2026. ~ Mariano Prunes
