Travis Reuter

Post-bop jazz guitarist Travis Reuter's music balances complex forms with intricate rhythms, daring improvisation, and abstract concepts. He won the ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Award in 2009 and released his debut album, Rotational Templates, two years later. He then moved to Zurich, Switzerland, where he played and recorded with musicians such as Lukas Mantel, Will Mason, David Weiss, Roger Kintopf, and Arturo O'Farrill. Reuter's second album, simply entitled Quintet Music, followed in 2024.
