In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest memories is finding a Doug E. Fresh album in the record crate by the front door. I was 5 or 6, living across from Emanuel Baptist Church. The cover changed my life. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? JAŸ-Z, The Blueprint Nas, It Was Written Wu-Tang Clan, Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) This album hit different. It was sharper, more polished than Illmatic, and showed Nas evolving as a writer and thinker. “The Message” alone made me want to step my pen game up.
