Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá

One of the top symphony orchestras in Latin America, the Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá plays roles in many aspects of its home city's musical life. The group has attracted a list of conductors from outside Colombia and, in several cases, outside South America. The Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá is a public entity owned by the city of Bogotá and participates in a wide range of projects, from dance and theater to the Hip Hop al Parque concert. The orchestra has made several recordings under conductor Joachim Gustafsson, including Beethoven: Piano Concertos, Vol. 1 (2025).
