In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was hearing Elvis on our family home stereo as early as five years old. My mom was a major fan of his. His voice compelled my body to move and long for something I couldn't even comprehend yet. Connection. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds Wilco, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot Willie Nelson, Red Headed Stranger These three albums are the tops for me- mostly because they have so much story around them. The orchestral genius of Pet Sounds and the longing, the searching the vulnerability of it. YFH saved my life in 2019 and Red Headed Stranger is perfet. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Foolhearted Fool” I have a hard time writing love songs. It is such a difficult task for me. So, what is it to fall in love, but to be a fool? The loved, can reject and disregard, but the lover is helpless and a fool to lay everything on the line, and a worth cause. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Any time I have taken the stange I want to play like it's my last chnce- with honest desperation. I've released four recods and an EP under The Bruised Hearts Revue and my name and have enjoyed every minute of it. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to write for a film- another passion of mine is film. I got a chance to many years ago for a friend's documentary. But, I would really love to do that again. Also, I want to play the Showbox in Seattle, WA.
