Love Letters

Maxime Robillard's house and techno tracks under the name Love Letters range from low-slung to driving and physical, and contemporize classic techniques and sounds -- acid house and techno, deep house, ambient, and even tribal house -- that befit the alias. The New York-based producer and mixing engineer debuted their main alias in 2015 and released material on highly regarded labels such as Mister Saturday Night, the Bunker New York, and Interdimensional Transmissions. The latter issued their Falling Star EP in 2024. Robillard co-composed the score for the short documentary film From There to Here, is the co-presenting DJ of the Brooklyn ambient monthly Hypnotic Spa, and operates Vague Heat, a mixing and production studio in Queens.
