In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My music career started at the age of 3 touring the country with my mother Sonja Herholdt. I can't recall one specific performance but I do know that singing on stage has always come very naturally for me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? John Mayer, Where the Light Is: John Mayer Live In Los Angeles Sonja Herholdt, Sonja Herholdt The Police, The Police (Remastered) The album is a live recording of him playing 3 sets. He showcases his songwriting, love for blues and his pop music amazingly well. The Police. An Iconic band with amazing musicians and a sound like no other. The legend I am blessed to call mom. Tell us why you chose this song. “My Alles Jy (Acapella)” This vocal arrangement is just amazing that Mauritz Lotz did for me here. It's a re-release because I felt the song had potential and deserved a 2nd shot. I was just a thought that I decided to go with and I love the outcome. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing for my family on their wedding days. They are truly my biggest fans and I am so privileged to have an amazing family. We are far from perfect but music is something that has always brought us together. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to tour the US and to jam along the way. I've been privileged to play to audiences from all over the world but I haven't yet traveled the states.
