About Christophe Willem

Count Christophe Willem among the myriad young singers launched to fame via the reality TV phenomenon of the early 21st century. Born in Enghien-les-Bains, France, on August 3, 1983, Willem auditioned for the 2006 season of the French television amateur showcase Nouvelle Star and quickly proved a fan favorite, eventually besting rival Dominique Michalon for the crown. In May 2006, he scored a Top Five single with "Sunny." His 2007 debut album, Inventaire, kicked off a series of Top 20 pop albums in his home country. ~ Jason Ankeny
