In 1974, hearing Todd Rundgren’s “Useless Begging” on some big clunky headphones at my neighbour’s house and deciding , then and there , that I wanted to know how to make music like that ie. to be a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer . What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Marvin Gaye, The Very Best Of Marvin Gaye The Beatles, The Beatles 1962-1966 (The Red Album) Todd Rundgren, Runt. The Ballad of Todd Rundgren I can’t actually choose the exact 3 albums I’d like to add but Todd Rundgren, The Beatles, Pink Floyd,Stevie Wonder, Carly Simon , Marvin, Laura Nyro , Vegyn & HEADACHE are some of my favourite artists. Tell us why you chose this song. “Shipwrecked Love” I started writing it from a piano doodle, the intro to the song , and then completed the music track with some melody sketches . The music suggested floating nowhere on a wide, expansive turquoise ocean . But also melancholy . The lyrics came later.
