About Aaron London
In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories is sitting close to the speakers and being pulled in by the bass, drums and voices before I knew what any of it meant. I remember trying to copy melodies by ear, chasing the feeling more than the notes. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Voodoo J Dilla, Donuts KAYTRANADA, 99.9% I chose these because they shaped the way I hear groove, space and feeling. Each one taught me something different about soul, rhythm and texture, and I still return to them when I want music to feel effortless but intentional. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “In the Cut (feat. Masego)” “In the Cut” is special to me because it shows a lighter, more spontaneous side of my sound. The collaboration with Masego gave the track its own character, and it still feels like a reminder of how natural creative chemistry can be. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments was hearing my voice on records that reached people far beyond the room they were made in. Seeing songs like “In the Cut” connect with listeners reminded me that honest ideas can travel when the feeling is real. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I still want to build a full live experience around my music, not just perform songs but create a world people can step into. I’d also love to produce a complete project that connects the music, visuals and storytelling from start to finish.
