Rosa Feola

About Rosa Feola

Soprano Rosa Feola specializes in 19th century Italian opera, but her repertory extends as far as Carl Orff's Latin secular cantata Carmina Burana. She is also in demand as a vocal recitalist. Feola made her operatic debut as Corinna in Rossini's Il viaggio a Reima at age 23 under conductor Kent Nagano. Her recording debut came as she joined tenor Jonas Kaufmann on his 2011 album Verismo Arias. In the early 2010s, Feola made debuts at major Italian houses, including Venice's La Fenice. She made her debut at London's Wigmore Hall as a recitalist in 2014. Feola made her solo recording debut in 2016 as a recitalist with the album Musica e Poesia with accompanist Iain Burnside. Feola was heard in 2023 on the soundtrack of the film Maestro, and that year, she appeared opposite tenor Piotr Beczala on a live recording of Rigoletto.
