Christian Mistress

Olympia, Washington's Christian Mistress play a potent mixture of thrash, doom, and raw hard rock that evokes the spirit of classic New Wave of British Heavy Metal. Behind enigmatic frontwoman Christine Davis, the band blend occult and fantasy imagery with more reflective themes that often give them an empowering tone. Their 2010 EP Agony and Opium earned them a contract with Relapse, which released the full-length albums Possession (2012) and To Your Death (2015). A decade-long hiatus followed before Christian Mistress returned with their third album, 2025's Children of the Earth, on Italian label Cruz del Sur Music.
