In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Music has always been present in my life since childhood. My uncle played piano, my older brother listened to rock music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Can, Tago Mago (2011 Remastered) King Crimson, In the Court of the Crimson King (Expanded Edition) Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered All three bands were very influential on my music development. Tell us why you chose this song. “Salt on the Beach” For this soundtrack, I was inspired by the dullness of existence while hanging out in the sun on a lovely beach. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In 1998, with my band RADAR, we played an exciting show at the MÖB Festival in Bielefeld. It was our very special avant-garde rock installation with visuals, oil drums, distortions, and delays, finishing with the destruction of our instruments. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I still need to record my best album, which follows the formula: the best album = the albums I have + 1
