Futurebirds

Hailing from the bohemian college town of Athens, Georgia, Futurebirds play laid-back country-rock with an atmospheric, psychedelic twist. Sounding twangy and amiable, they are known among their fans for their eclectic creative spirit, making music that incorporates the clever angles of indie rock, the tuneful melodies of pop, and the open-ended adventure of jam-band sounds along with the very Southern sound that first made them hometown heroes. The group's approach, honed by extensive touring, found its voice in the recording studio on 2013's Baba Yaga and 2015's Hotel Parties, while 2023's Bloomin' was a collaboration with kindred spirit Carl Broemel of My Morning Jacket, and 2024's Easy Company captured their breezy groove at its best.
