In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mother always jokes about how she had me on her shoulders at an Outkast concert in like 93' but clearly I was too young too remember. The moment I actually remember is seeing Busta's video for Put ya hands where eyes can see...it was crazy. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? J Dilla, Donuts Kanye West, Late Registration Stevie Wonder, Innervisions Remastered J Dilla is my Michael Jordan, he's my goat, the reason I do music. Stevie really has one of the most flawless catalogs, Innervisions is a PERFECT album. Late Registration is the one, it's like the perfect blend of everything he does well, flawless. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hash Oil” Even though it's minimal, it's probably the hypothesis for what I do. At it's core this song sounds like a breeze on a summer day, the beauty in simplicity being highlighted is what I enjoy the most. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Doing the Wünderkid album, bringing all of those artists together in that manner? I was still in college putting together my magnum opus! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The next album, I feel like I've been holding off on an album outside of instrumental projects. The next time I give time and effort towards a body of work like I did for Wünderkid, it'll be special.
