Lyn Christopher's sole album, released in 1973, might seem like any garden-variety set of polished early-'70s anything-goes pop; a dime-a-dozen example of the era destined to be found in every other used record bin in the United States. Instead, her LP became a crate-digger's classic in two different genres, thanks in part to the then-unknown future rock legends who made small but notable contributions to the tracks.
