DJ Nobu

Known for his dark, hypnotic sets and a keen sense of spatial structures in his music, Japanese DJ Nobu is best known for his industrial-textured techno tracks but also explores ambient, downbeat or more dance-friendly styles. Starting in the 2000s, DJ Nobu released a plethora of single tracks, EPs and DJ mixes, most notably the 14-minute ambient single "ON-Netoh" (2019), the nocturnal techno EP Nobusawa (2019), the cyber-techno single "Nepia" (2021), the intricate Landscape Perception EP (2023) and the metallic single "Flares" (2024).
