In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Writing poetry evolved into songwriting, which became an extension of who I am as a person, let alone an artist. Recording these words memorialized the subject matter and gave me a medium to share my thoughts, feelings and commentary with the world. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 2Pac, Me Against the World OutKast, Aquemini Too $hort, Born To Mack While impossible to truly narrow down my musical inspiration to 3 albums, these albums reflect how hip-hop enveloped my life. These albums symbolize how I grew as a person, inspired my content & showcase how music can tell stories that draw you in. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Planning my first record release party, from venue to DJ to bar to guest list, was an amazing extension of the music itself. Being able to present it without restriction and in the vision I had completed the record's release in a unique fashion. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are many artists I’ve been inspired by and I admire that I would love to collaborate with in the future. As their music was special to me, I’d like to create new sounds and stories that highlight the best of both of our worlds.
