Olivia Trummer

German pianist, singer, and songwriter Olivia Trummer balances harmonically sophisticated post-bop and modern creative jazz with her lyrical vocal compositions. She first garnered attention with several small-group albums, including 2005's Nach Norden and 2010's Nobody Knows. Splitting her time between work in Europe and New York, she has collaborated closely with guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel, with whom she recorded 2022's Fly Now. She has also recorded with flutist Hadar Noiberg, singer Mario Biondi, and drummer Nicola Angelucci, the latter of whom joined her for 2023's Dialogue's Delight.
