In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up idolizing Queen Latifah, Salt N Pepa and Lauryn Hill. As a teen, Foxy Brown and Lil’ Kim dominated the airwaves and I loved their unapologetic style of rapping that embraced their sexuality.
