White Fence

White Fence makes twisted rock sounds that recall the weirdest aspects of '60s psychedelia and Baroque pop, but if those records had melted in the rays of a woozy summer sun. The band was formed byTim Presley and he acted as the bands sole member while recording the earliest White Fence material in his bedroom at the end of the 2000s. As time progressed, however, he brought in other people and ventured into recording studios, which resulted in slightly more polished albums like 2014's For the Recently Found Innocent. Presley put the band on hold to record solo and with Cate Le Bon as DRiNKS before returning in 2018 with Joy, a collaboration with longtime cohort Ty Segall. From there, new White Fence albums emerged sporadically, with I Have to Feed Larry's Hawk arriving in 2019, and Orange showing up in 2026.
