About Erik Grönwall
Erik Grönwall is hard rock/pop-metal singer who has topped the charts in his native Sweden with his strong voice, wide vocal range, and handle on covers of powerful vocalists. He rose to fame on Swedish TV's Idol in 2009, and went to number one with his debut single, "Higher," from the chart-topping Erik Grönwall. The follow-up, 2010's number two-charting Somewhere Between a Rock and a Hard Place, featured his Top Ten cover of Magnus Bäcklund's "Crash and Burn." Between 2012 and 2020, the singer released four albums with H.E.A.T before joining Skid Row in 2022 and appearing on their album The Gang’s All Here. Health issues forced Grönwall to leave the legendary group in 2024, although he continued to record as a soloist, including releasing multiple volumes of his covers-album series, Eriksplanations. His first original solo material in 16 years arrived in 2026 with the album Bad Bones.
