About Bentwood Rocker

Bentwood Rocker formed in 1978 and released their first album, Not Taken, in 1979. After signing with Quality in 1981, vocalist and guitarist Tim Campbell left, leaving Eric Baragar (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Mike Goettler (vocals, bass), Steve Smith (vocals, drums, keyboards), Dan Thompson (vocals, guitar, percussion) and replacement Barry Haggarty. That group recorded Take Me to Heaven in 1982. A year later, Bentwood Rocker changed their name to the Press for Second Wind; the Press became 98.6 not long after. ~ John Bush
